BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS – Parents and guardians have been invited by the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr Terrance M. Drew, to begin the journey that empowers the nation’s youths with practical financial knowledge and the confidence to build healthy saving habits from an early age.
“This isn’t just another event,” said Prime Minister Drew, who invited the parents to witness the experience of their children make their first step into the world of banking by seeing them “complete a bank slip, interact with a bank teller, and make their very first deposit,” said Dr Drew.
He said these may seem like simple steps, but they represent the foundation of a financially empowered future.
It all takes place on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Ltd., Main Branch, Central Street, Basseterre.
“Together, we’re not just encouraging children to save—we’re investing in a generation of financially confident future leaders.
The future starts with one deposit. Let’s make history together,” said Prime Minister Drew.
The milestone ASPIRE is seen as a life-changing moment for the nation’s children.
