An atmosphere of camaraderie, warmth and meaningful engagement defined the Diaspora Engagement hosted by the Embassy of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United States, the Permanent Mission to the United Nations, and the Consulate General in New York on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Members of the Saint Kitts and Nevis diaspora had the opportunity to engage directly with Acting Prime Minister, the Honourable Dr Geoffrey Hanley, Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Right Honourable Dr Denzil Douglas, and Minister of Sustainable Development, Senator, the Honourable Dr Joyelle Clarke.
The lively feedback, thoughtful questions and insightful comments from members of the audience were warmly received, creating an avenue for open and meaningful discussions on matters of importance to nationals at home and abroad.
The town hall-style engagement was ably led by Her Excellency, Jacinth Henry-Martin, Ambassador of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of St. Kitts and Nevis in Washington, D.C., who guided the discussions and helped foster an interactive exchange between members of the Government delegation and the diaspora.
