The final day of the Basketball camp which was held for children ages 6 to 16, was on Friday 26th August.
The final session was held as per usual, at the Grell Hull-Stevens Netball Complex.
The children were once again put through their paces by the dynamic visiting team of trainers, representing GREAT ADVENTURE, out of St. Thomas in the USVI.
Some of the visiting coaches spoke of their experience in dealing with the children and noted that there is quite a lot of potential in terms of the children who attended the camp.
It was pointed out that the focus was not only on teaching them the fundamentals of the game of Basketball, but also to teach them various life style disciplines, as the coaching sessions were holistic in nature.
They also took time out to thank the people of St. Kitts and Nevis for their kind hospitality in hosting them and wished the children all the best as they continue to develop.
There was no official closing ceremony held on that day, as that was set to be held on Monday 29th August.
