The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force in collaboration with the captain and crew of the Carnival Valor Cruise Line conducted an investigation into an allegation of a sexual offence which was committed on the Cruise Line on Friday 6 June 2014 in the Territorial Waters of the Federation.   

An intense collaborative investigation took place on the Carnival Valor Cruise Line into the alleged sexual offence which was committed on a passenger, which lead to the formally  arrest and charged of crew member of the cruise line.

Commissioner CG Walwyn therefore takes this opportunity to thank the authorities of the Cruise Line for their cooperation and assistance during the investigation, and also, send his sympathy and on behalf of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, and the Country as a whole to the victim and her family during this period of their distress.
