CHILD MONTH 2016 IN FULL SWING

Charlestown-Nevis- The activities for Child month 2016 are already in full swing. The month was officially launched by Premier of Nevis and Minister of Education, Hon. Vance Amory, who stressed on the importance of parents teaching proper values to their children.

“As parents, our children learn their life lessons from us. Sometimes, what we teach them will be conscious and explicit.  At other times, they will learn by observing how we behave, the language we use and the way we respond to a situation, a person or group of people.

As they mature, our children will understand what our values are and overtime they will develop a value system of their own.  As Proverbs 22:6 says: Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it,” he said.

The teachers, students and parents of the little ones are in for a hectic month of activities:
