Cocaine, Ammunitions, and Firearm Confiscated by Joint Security Forces

On Thursday, 29 May, 2014, The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force Special Services Unit (SSU) and Drug Squad teamed with Her Majesty’s Customs And Excise Department Enforcement Unit and launched simultaneous operations, executing search warrants on the premises of Carla Hendrickson, Patrick Weekes, and Dwayne Martin, all of Bird Rock. Intelligence disclosed that they were involved in illegal narcotic activity within the Federation.

At Patrick Weekes residence a quantity of cocaine was discovered. Weekes, and Cassanya Lanns of St. Paul Village who was present at the time of the search, were taken into police custody. Both Weekes and Lanns were formally arrested and charged for the offences of (1) Possession of Cocaine and (2) Possession of Cocaine With Intent To Supply.

At the residence of Carla Hendrickson and Dwayne Martin, a quantity of cocaine was found. Also found in the property was an unlicensed fire arm and thirteen (13) matching rounds of ammunition. The Cocaine, Firearm, and Ammunition were taken into police custody. Carla Hendrickson and Dwayne Martin were formally arrested and charged for the offences of (1) Possession of Cocaine and (2) Possession of Cocaine With Intent To Supply, and (3) Possession of Fire Arm and (4) Possession of Ammunition.
