Digicel Focuses On McKnight Community Center

Basseterre, St. Kitts (December 2, 2014) – Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis Limited continues to focus on customer reward, loyalty and retention through the recent launch of its “Christmas Together” campaign were customers can share in a $15,000 weekly giveaway.

Congratulations are in order for our mega $10,000 winner, Simoy Hanley, and our $1000 winners to date: Eugene Archibald, Helmut Liebscher of Nevis, Oswald Browne and Dora Buchanan who was in disbelief when given the cheerful news last evening (December 1st) on live TV.

Digicel Facebook fans are also enjoying the campaign “12 Days of Christmas” which features Digicel staff and popular Brand Ambassadors, keeping customers connected through the power of social media. Prizes for video submissions, based on the given theme of the day, include free credit and the DL range of Smartphones, now available at Digicel stores islandwide.

In terms of culture, Digicel SKN has focused on a return to “grassroots” support and this is reflected best by an example as recent as this morning at 10 o’clock to book-mark the ninth anniversary of the Company and celebrate what is truly important: supporting those in need. A donation was therefore made to Mr. Anthony Mills, Chairperson of the SKN Association of Persons with Disabilities, of EC$5,000 to assist with on-going training for persons to complete graphic design qualifications, at the McKnight Community Centre in Basseterre.

Minister of Health, Hon. Marcella Liburd, also in attendance at the brief cheque hand-over ceremony, has publicly commended Digicel for its “real support, for real people in need, in delivering real opportunities for progress.”
