DOUBLE A’S STAR AT CPS INFANT CROSS COUNTRY

By:Curtis Morton

Scores of parents, siblings and other relatives and friends, showed up in their numbers, as the Charlestown Primary School hosted its annual infant cross country races on Wednesday 3rd February.

The route for the boys and girls was the same, as they commenced at the back of the school, made a right turn into Ramsbury and then headed past Vaughn Anslyn’s residence and then back to the school.
The support was tremendous all along the route.

For the boys’ race, which got on the way first, Ashawn Gonzaley was the star athlete getting back to the school in first place and little Ajanique Newton raced home to tumultuous cheers for the girls’ segment.
The current point standings and the top ten placers will be forthcoming shortly but sufficing to say that the heats points reveal that Blue house is in first place; Green a close second and Red a close third.

It still can be anybody’s race with several more heats events to go.
