Dr. Wilson gives assistance to passenger who fell ill on American Airlines

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JULY 29TH 2014 (CUOPM) – One of the Federation’s local physicians responded to a medical alert on board an American Airlines flight from St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport to Miami International last Sunday.

Dr. Norgen Wilson responded to alert from the pilot if any medical profession was onboard, rendered assistance to a young lady who had taken ill in the front of the aircraft.

“I was proud to see Dr. Wilson, one of our Cuban-trained doctors and one of the springtime candidates in the right place at the right time,” said a passenger who was onboard and who related the story to CUOPM.

This is not the first time that Dr. Wilson has responded to medical emergencies.

Two years ago, Dr. Wilson and Dr. Vance Gilbert responded to a male reveller, who suffered a leg injury by the wheel of a band trailer during J’ouvert.
