Eustace ‘Brother’ Wallace Gets Official Send Off

The funeral service of the late Eustace ‘Brother’ Wallace, was held on Saturday 6th January at the Roman Catholic Church in Charlestown.

Scores of individuals showed up at the service, including Premier Mark Brantley; Sports Minister, Hon. Eric Evelyn; Vernon Springer; St. Kitts Masters’ cricketers; Nevis Masters’ cricketers; other cricketers; family members and friends.

At the end of the service, a fitting tribute was paid in memory of the late sportsman.

A contingent from Bull’s gym, of which he was a member, carried the coffin and a combination of Masters’ cricketers from both islands, teamed up with members of the Pennyless All-stars Cricket club, to raise bats, as the coffin was carried towards the hearse.

Some of the persons present, also shared pleasant memories of the man who not only had some degree of cricketing talent but also had a keen sense of humour.

Condolences are once again extended to the grieving family.
