The excitement continued in the Village Premier League (VPL), on Sunday 26th February, when two more exciting matches were played at the Hard times playing field.
In match one, POODLE Bar was dominating their game against FIRE HALL when they were comfortably placed at 80 for 1 in 6 overs. However, the Firemen and their friends pulled back the game to restrict them to 103 for 7 from 12 overs. Kareem Herbert top scored with 50 and Rozel Liburd got 18.
The Firemen however, cruised to the victory target in just 7.3 overs with Huggins top scoring with 50 not out.
Rozel Liburd had the lobe wicket.
