The Flash Flood Warning that was issued earlier has been downgraded to a Flash Flood Watch and is valid from 2pm until 8 pm this evening. This is due to a few light to moderate scattered showers possible this evening.
The upper level trough continues to move away from the islands to the NE out into the Atlantic ocean while the surface trough continues to move westward through the island chain. Due to this, some lingering moisture and instability may persist over the islands during the watch period. This will be reviewed and updated accordingly through out the watch period.
