GSS TAKES GAME ONE

The 2017 edition of the High Schools Basketball championship on Nevis, commenced on Friday 8th December.

The match was played at the hard court at Old Manor, the home court of the home court of the Gingerland Secondary School, having won the coin toss, a few days prior to the tournament.

The opposing team was the Charlestown Secondary School and it was a keenly contested game for the most part but the GSS team pulled away in the latter half of the game, to end with a fairly convincing win, with a score line of 50 to 33.

The next game is set for this afternoon-Monday 11th December, at the Grell Hull-Stevens Netball Complex, in Charlestown.

The Charlestown team is hoping to keep the best of three series alive, by winning this one.
