Hon. Jeffers, to host Cricket competition

The community of St James and by extension the whole of Nevis will come together on Easter weekend for the first ever Cricket Madness Competition.

The Hon. Alexis Jeffers, representative of St. James’ Parish and the host of Cricket Madness informed Nevispages that the competition is opened to all including young and old men and women of all ages.

The competition will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. on the VOJN Primary School grounds under the newly installed flood lights. the matches will be eight (8) – ten (10) overs.

The matches will be played in knock out style. He noted that four models will be on the field, a fashion similar to CPL style. Registration is free of cost and teams interested may contact “Velli”

There will be $1000.00 in prize money. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team, player of the day, and most runs by a player.

Music will be provided by Judgment Sounds.
