The conference was an entirely non-profit initiative by the Word of Life New Testament Church of God which is located on Central Street in Basseterre, under the leadership of Bishop Matthew Hepburn. It was the Church’s first conference of that nature and was primarily aimed at enhancing the quality of praise and worship and associated art forms in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis and to highlight the need to re-ignite the passion for meaningful worship in the Church.

The participants benefited from a competent pool of facilitators which included Rev Jeremy Francis of the Moravian Church, Mrs Shiren Paul from Anguilla, Mr Richard Simon of Grenada, Pastors Boris Johnson and Rudell Williams and Mr Athnel Pemberton from the Pentecostal Harvest Church.

Participants openly lauded the organizers on the high standard of the forum and were quite pleased with the presentations delivered over the three days. The sessions included both theoretical and practical teachings on the biblical elements of worship and zeroed in on the specific areas of singing, music, praise dance and sound engineering. Worship Conference 2015 is already in the works.

The organizers express their gratitude to TDC Ltd for their support and tangible contribution towards the conference.
