Kyla Morton and Nicoyan Hamilton crowned Miss Culture Swimwear and Mr. Kool 2016

(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)-  Hundreds of persons came out to the Nevis Cultural Complex on the night of Tuesday, July 26, 2016 to witness the Ms Culture Swimwear and the Mr. Kool competitions.

It was indeed a night of fierce competition when five Ms Swimwear contestants and four Mr. Kool participants took to the stage to determine who would walk away with the coveted titles.

At the end of the night, capturing most points from the judges was Ms. Kyla Morton while Mr. Nicoyan Hamilton was crowned Mr. Kool 2016.

The Ms. Culture Swimwear participants were judged in three segments, one- piece, two-piece and creative wear. The Mr. Kool contestants were judged on beachwear, talent, Mr. Kool GQ Wear and Interview.

The ladies rocked the stage displaying physique, modeling skills and creativity. However at the end of the keenly contested competition, Kyla Morton defeated her competitors. Morton won all three segments and gained an overall tally of 630 points. She won Ms. Photogenic and was also voted as the most popular contestant. First runner up was awarded to Mervanne Thompson who gained a total of 544 points and second runner up was Nicola Clarke with 510 points. The other contestants were Sharizelle Belle and Timeka Liburd.

Nicoyan Hamilton took the Mr. Kool title with a total of 845 points. He won best beachwear; best talent and best GQ Wear. Delville Francis won the interview segment and was placed first runner up with 794 points. Francis was also voted Most Photogenic. The other participants who competed were Monique Jeffers and Shanroy Joseph.
