Leewards’ trio selected in U-19 squad

The West Indies U-19 squad will undergo training from December 9th to 20th in Grenada.  The team comprises of three members of the leeward Islands U-19 squad Javier Spencer Antigua Barbuda, Kian Pemberton Nevis and Jerellius Louis St.Kitts.

The initial camp is set to am prepare a team for the Regional Super 50 a pre-tournament camp for the final team will be held in Antigua from January 17th -21st  2017. The under -19 will be in group A of the super 50, which runs from January 25th to February 18th in Antigua and Barbados.

Title holder’s T& Tobago Red force, Leeward Islands Hurricanes Windward Island Volcanoes, and visiting English team Kent Spitfires have also been installed in Group A.

Group B comprises of Barbados Pride, Guyana Jaguar, Combined Campuses and Colleges Marooners, Jamaica Scorpions and ICC Americas.

The tournament will serve as a build up for the West Indies U-19’s as they ready themselves for the defense of the ICC Youth World Cup Title captured earlier this year in Bangladesh.

A management team will be led by Coach Graeme West and managed by Dwain Gill. Congratulation to the Leeward Islands U-19 Players.
