LIME donates mobile phones to crew members of MV Lady Mignon

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)-On the afternoon of Monday, September 15, 2014 the Telecommunications Company ‘LIME’ conducted a brief ceremony at its main office in Charlestown Nevis. This was to make a donation of phones to the crew members of the vessel, the MV Lady Mignon that sank on Friday, September, 12, 2014.

The members of the crew who were the recipients of the Blackberry Phones were, Captain Colin Parris, Frederick Parris, Anthony Walters, Kwesi Josiah and Jeffery Herbert. Herbert and Josiah received Blackberry 9720 phones, Parris and Walters received the Blackberry ‘Q 5s.’ and Capt Collin Parris received the Blackberry ‘Z 10’.

During the ceremony, Accounts Manager at LIME, Mrs. Gillian Hector noted that it was extremely pleasing for the company to assist the crew members whose phones were lost in the unfortunate incident. Mrs. Hector indicated that when occurrences such as these happen, it is the responsibility of those who can help to give  assistance. She also stated that the crew members should consider themselves very fortunate because on a different day, the outcome could have been different.

All recipients expressed their gratitude for the assistance given to them by the phone company.
