(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- The Member Lines of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association are inviting the students of Nevis to participate in the 2015 FCCA Foundation for the Caribbean Children’s Environmental Poster Competition.
This year’s competition, “My Caribbean, Your Caribbean, To Protect and Preserve” seeks to promote and stimulate environmental awareness among Caribbean students, while effectively educating our younger generation on the importance of environmental protection.
The poster competition will be conducted in two categories: a junior division for children ages 12 years and under and a senior division for children ages 13 – 16 years.
The first, second and third place winners and their respective schools from each category will be awarded as follows:
Junior Division (Ages 12 years & under)
1st Place- student- US $3,000 and school- US $3,000
2nd Place- student- US $1,500 and school- US $1,500
3rd Place- student- US $1,000 and school- US $1,000
Senior Division (Ages 13 years to 16 years)
1st Place- student- US $3,000 and school- US $3,000
2nd Place- student- US $1,500 and school- US $1,500
3rd Place- student- US $1,000 and school-US $1,000
