MINISTRY OFFICIALS VISIT PROJECT SITE

The Hon. Hazel Brandy- Williams, Minister responsible for Social Development and Sports, led an impressive delegation to witness first hand, the construction work being complete at the VOJN Primary school.

According to contractor, –the newly constructed main pavilion at the grounds, will cater for a Hurricane shelter downstairs. While upstairs will have adequate sedation for spectators attending sporting events.

As a matter of fact, Coach SKIDDA at the VOJN Primary school, is still hoping that the veunue will be ready twhen the school hots it annual Sports day on Nevis ——-

There is also space being made for a commentary booth.

The cricket pitch has also been newly laid with clay and should be ready for matches to be played shortly.

Minister Brandy-Williams, expressed gratitude to the contractor and his team and used the opportunity to thank  all who had assisted in making the site what it is today.

Permanent Secretary Keith Glasgow and Asst. Secretary, Miss D. Michelle Liburd, also expressed commendations to the construction workers, for doing such a fine job.
