(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Police Officers on Nevis are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night, Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Pinney’s Beach in the vicinity of the Pinney’s Beach Hotel.
Information reaching this publication stated that at about 10:00 p.m. last night a national of the Republic of Guyana, but who resides in Nevis, went out fishing, and upon his arrival back on shore he was attacked by an unknown assailant.
Further information revealed that he was shot in his mouth and abdomen. The victim who is of Indian descent was transported to the Alexandra Hospital where he is said to be in critical condition.
The month of May, 2014, Nevis has seen four persons being attacked and shot; one has succumbed to their injuries.
Police continues to investigate all matters.
