At the conclusion of the grand finals between Pennyless All stars and Empire, in the first ever Development Bank sponsored T-20 tournament on Nevis, the outstanding performers received their reward, from the hands of new sports Minister, Hon. Eric Evelyn.
The match was played on Saturday evening -30th December, at the ET Willett Park.
Immediately after the encounter, which was won by the Empire club, a brief ceremony was held, ably chaired by Nevis’ Cricket chief, Denrick Liburd.
The presentation of awards were made by Sports Minister, Hon. Eric Evelyn, as follows:
MVP of the finals-Pennyless All-stars-Ross Powell ($150.00)
MVP of the finals-Empire-Justin Athanaze-($150.00)
All of the players were presented with medals
The umpires were also presented with medals
Second placed team-Pennyless All-stars-$250.00
Champion team-Empire-$500.00 and a trophy
