Basseterre, St. Kitts, December, 08, 2015 (RSCNPF): Officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, are currently investigating an alleged hit and run resulting in a fatality.
Royston Collins, a male, 31 years old of Carifesta Village, St. Peter’s was found on the side of the road in the vicinity of the mango tree on the main road leading to Carifesta Village.
Collins was transported to the Joseph N France General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The scene was processed by the Forensic Services Unit and items of evidentiary value were taken for further investigation. A post mortem examination has revealed that the injuries are consistent with those sustained as a result of being hit by a vehicle.
