Police Investigating Shooting in Taylor’s Village

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 03, 2017(RSCNPF) Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit are investigating a shooting incident that was reported at 9.45pm, on Saturday (June 03) in Taylor’s Village that resulted injuries to one person and the murder of another.

The injured victim is a male resident of Taylor’s Village and the deceased is identified as a male resident of Lower West Bourne St.

Investigations revealed that victims were shot by an unknown assailant(s) while entering the yard of the injured victim The injured victim was taken to the Joseph N. France General Hospital by the Emergency Medical Services. The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Police encourages any person who may have information with regards to this incident to come forward and share any information they may have.
