The Violent Crime Unit is investigating a fatal shooting incident which occurred along the Island Main Road at White Gate about 9:15 PM tonight ( Saturday 1 November 2014).
Initial investigation revealed Kevin Newman of St. Peter’s Village was driving his motor omni bus HA 240 from Dieppe Bay towards St. Paul Village when he was attacked and fatally wounded by unknown assailant(s).
He succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the incident. Anyone who has any information pertaining to this incident is asked to call the Violent Crime Unit at 467-1887 or 467-1888, the nearest police station, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS).
