POLICE PRESS RELEASE 27042016 REPORT OF ARREST, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES‏

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 27, 2016 (RSCNPF):  Below is a report of Arrest and or Convictions from the records of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force. For period 26th April.

 ARRESTS/BAILED: Chris Davis of Action Street, Molyneaux was arrested, and formally charged  for the offence of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of seven thousand dollars ($7000.00) and ordered to appear at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court 6th May 2016 at 0900hrs in the forenoon.

 COURT CONVICTIONS:

None to report.

 OTHER ACTIVITIES:

 House Breaking and Larceny: Police is investigating an incident of House Breaking and Larceny in the Frigate Bay area.  Investigations have revealed that the house keeper secured the home on Monday, April 18, 2016 and on April 26, 2016 the house keeper was informed by a neighbour that a door on the western verandah and a southern gate were opened.  As a result, the house keeper visited the house and discovered the southern stained glass above a French door broken out. The home was ransacked and several items were taken. The value of the missing items is unknown at the moment. Investigations are ongoing.

 Larceny from the dwelling house:  Police is investigating an incident that occurred at Ponds Extensions  on April 25, 2026.  The resident reported that he left his room in the dwelling secured on the April 21 and upon return on the April 25, noticed the door to his room tampered with.  He reported several items were missing from his room. Further inquiries to be conducted.

Marijuana found on school premises: Police, school officials and the Department of Social Services are investigating an incident of drugs found at Primary School. The investigation has revealed, that four (4) students ages ranging from six(6) to (9) years old were found with marijuana on the school premises.  The investigation has revealed that the nine(9) year old made offer to sell a dime bag of marijuana for two Dollars E.C($2.00) to the students.  A dime bag of marijuana was retrieved from the student and seized by the police. All students were interviewed in the presence of their parents, guidance counselor and a social worker. Further inquiries are to be carried out by the Department of Social Services. 

Traffic Accident: One traffic accident occurred on the federation’s roadways on April 26.  The accident occurred Lozack Road. There were no personal injuries.
