Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 23, 2016 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of and Arrest, Conventions and other Activities for the report of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force. For period 20-22 May.

ARREST AND OR BAIL:
Arrested: Brian Jeffers of Conaree Village was arrested and formally charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply.

Arrested: Rahim Antione of Fountain Village was arrested and formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis.

Arrested: Rickel Hanley of Fountain Village was arrested and formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis.

Arrested: Shaquiel Liburd of Newton was formally charged and caution on the warrant for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to supply. This incident Occurred at the Charlestown Ferry Terminal.

Arrested: Glenroy Mills of Stapleton Village was formally charged on the warrant for possession of cannabis with the intent to supply. This crime was committed on the 22nd of May 2016.

Arrested: Bruce Orpen of Ireland and resides at Timothy Beach Hotel was arrested and formally charged, on a Warrant in the First Instance for the offence of Malicious Damage committed on 22nd May 2016 at Sands Complex.

Arrested: Esau Slack of Low Street was arrested and formally charged in the First Instance for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply. This incident Occurred about
18:10 hrs 22nd May 2016.

Bailed: Davern Flemming of Newton Ground who was arrested and formally charged for the offence of obstruction under the drug act on the 20th May 2016 was granted bail in the sum of $4,000.00 with one (1) surety namely for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on 6th June2016.

Bailed: Collin Nisbett of Cooks Ground was granted bail in the sum of $1,000.00 and ordered to appear at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on Tuesday 24th May, 2016 at 09:00.

Bailed: Shaquiel Liburd of New Town who was charged with the following offences namely Possession of Cannabis and Possession of cannabis with intent to supply, granted bail in the sum of $5000.00.

COURT CONVICTION:
None to report

OTHER ACTICITY:
Traffic Accident: One (1) traffic accident occurred on the federation’s roadways in St. Kitts on 20th May 2016.

The Traffic accident occurred about 20:15 hrs on 20th May 2016 on the Island Main Road at Boyd’s village in the vicinity of the Bronte Welsh Primary School involving motor jeep PA9814 with another trans that didn’t stop.

Police increased the presence of officers in our communities over the weekend. A significant number of foot and mobile patrols were conducted in our communities. Stop and Searches of persons and Vehicular check points were also increased. This increased presence of Police on the streets and in our communities is being done to ensure continued citizen safety.
