“St. Kitts is a fantastic island you know, and we are really glad to come here. It’s a destination that I should say is an extra experience for our guests and they are always looking at nice ports to go to and St. Kitts as an island, it’s unique with the sugar cane history and all those other memorable history. This is a fantastic destination for us,” said Capt Juliussen in an exclusive interview with the Communication Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister (CUOPM).

“We sail out of Miami and then we go to St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Nassau (Bahamas) and then back to Miami,” said Capt. Juliussen.

He said the Norwegian Epic is on a one time visit this season as the ship is re-positioning.

“We are going to the Western Caribbean. We are going from Miami to Costa Maya, we are going to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, then to Cozumel, so it is a total new itinerary for us,” said Capt. Juliussen, who disclosed that the ship can accommodate up to 5,000.

“So it is quite a big ship. We have a certificate of 5,116 quests that we can have on board and 1,800 crew,” said Capt. Juliussen, who joined Norwegian Cruise as a mate 22 years ago.

“I started on the old Southward as a mate and then was three years on the Norwegian Gem and before that I was four years on the Norwegian Spirit and then I came from the Norwegian Majesty, also the Sun and the Sky,” he said.
