ST.PAUL’S EDGES OUT ST.GEORGE’S

Another intense game was played in the ongoing under 21 Parish league, on the evening of Tuesday 11th October.

That’s when the St. Paul’s team took on the St. George’s team at the Grell Hull Stevens Netball Complex.

The early exchanges suggested that it would be a close game when both teams were locked at 6 points –all. Then it was St. George’s 8 and St. Paul’s 7.

After that, the St. Paul’s team seemed to have fallen asleep and the quarter ended with a superb three pointer by Sheldon Browne to see St. George’s leading by an emphatic 17 to 7.

However, Coach Karvin Smith rallied his forces and St. Paul’s returned a rejuvenated team and came back to take the second and third quarters and even though they lost the final quarter by a mere one point, it was enough to stave off the St. George’s attack.
