TDC recognised for its contribution to the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant

The organisers of the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant on Thursday 15th January 2015 demonstrated their appreciation to the TDC Group of Companies for its contribution towards the advancement of show.

Ms. Yarayni Morton, the reigning Miss Caribbean Culture Queen paid a courtesy call on Ms. Keesha Jones, Director TDC (Nevis) Limited, and presented her with a plaque and token of appreciation for the company’s Corporate support of the summer event, which forms part of the Culturama festivities.

The twenty-four year old beauty who is an advocate for human rights and equality expressed deep gratitude to TDC citing, “your sponsorship has provided two-fold benefits. Firstly, you have assisted an entrepreneur in making the show a tremendous success. Secondly, you have afforded me the opportunity to realize one of my dreams to showcase my creative talents on the National stage to a Regional audience. I cannot thank you enough.”

Ms. Jones in return congratulated Morton on her achievement and spoke of the company’s pleasure in being associated with the show and commended the committee for its efforts in empowering women.

“Congratulations again on winning the title. We, here at TDC trust that your reign, thus far, is a successful one. We are very proud of our association with the Ms. Caribbean Culture Pageant, and applaud Mr. Randy Jeffers, the CEO/Pageant Director and his hard working team for providing another platform that empowers young women using cultural diversity and Community involvement,” stated Jones.

The TDC Group has been a sponsor of the pageant since it started in 2006 and understands the value of supporting the local Arts and Entertainment industry, as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility endeavours.
