(BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS) – Two of the three suspects who were involved in the hospital shooting on Monday, September 22, 2014 have surrendered to police. In a press release issued by police on Sunday said that Gavin White of Buckley’s Site and Ineldbo ‘Ibo’ Hendrickson of Malone Avenue have surrendered to police. However police are still searching for Jahzya Roy Wilkerson of Shadwell who is the third person of interest.
Wilkerson is 23 years old stands at 5’ 10” in height and is described as having a brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes.
Nineteen year old Kaheel Herbert of Lower Thibou Avenue was killed after he was shot multiple times in the Accident and Emergency department at the JNF Hospital. He survived emergency surgery, but later succumbed to his injuries the following day.
The gunmen made their escape on foot.
The Police have appealed to anyone with information to contact the Violent Crime Unit at 662-9336, the nearest Police Station or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS).
