Another exciting Football match was played at the ET Willet Park on Sunday 12TH February.
It was the CCC Bath United team coming up against the Youths of The Future.
Both teams demonstrated the intensity to score but several great saves by either goal keeper, saved the day.
That was until there were fifteen minutes remaining in the first half.
That’s when one of the Bath players tackled unfairly from behind and a free kick was awarded from fairly close range.
The Youths of the Future’s striker, released a SIZZLER, which curled away from the goal keeper and lodged in the far right hand corner of the goal.
However, that just made the resilient Bath team dig deep and before the final whistle, they secured the equalizer.
Make that 1 goal –all, with both teams forced to settle for an honourable draw.
