Bath United Adopts Montessori Primary School

Friday, 23rd March, was a meaningful one for the students at the privately run, Montessori Primary school.

On that day, at the Bath Village Playing field, the Bath United Football club, officially adopted the school.

According to Coach of the Bath United Football club, Alex Claxton, the club will focus on training the students in the basic skills of Football and intends to bring them to a level, so that they will be a lot more competitive, when the Primary Schools’ Football competition, is launched for this year.

The club recently signed a MOU with the school, to officially seal the deal.

Claxton revealed that as part of club licensing procedures for CONCACAF and the region, it is mandatory that all clubs, affiliated with the SKNFA , adopt a primary school.

On Friday, members of the club taught the children such basic skills as dribbling; passing and receiving and heading.
