St. Thomas’ Parish-Nevis-The evening of Sunday 18th September, saw a huge crowd gathered at the St. Thomas’ Primary school grounds, the festival village utilized by the St. Thomas’ Fes’ committee, to stage the 2016 edition of the St. Thomas’ festival, which has been revived by the Community Development Department.
On that evening, some five beautiful teen aged girls, took to the stage to match their wits and beauty in front of a panel of judges.
From the outset, with the non-judged round, when the contestants made their grand appearance, right up to the talent expo, the crowd was vociferous and supportive.
At the end of the evening however, the judges made their adjudications as follows:
Queen-Anastasia Cush with 517 points
1st runner up-Dakeria Sargeant with 506.5 points
2nd runner up- Shadiah Michelle with 456 points.
Dakeria Sargeant also won the talent round with her 225 points, while Anastasia Cush grabbed the best evening wear trophy with 115 points.
