Ivor Walters Primary School (IWPS) successfully staged its annual cross-country races on Friday, 30th January, drawing a bumper crowd of enthusiastic parents, siblings, and supporters who turned out in full force to cheer on the young athletes.
All races started and finished at the back of the school compound. The younger competitors tackled shorter courses, while the older students faced a sterner test, running through sections of the nearby Brown Hill village, adding both challenge and excitement to the event.
The races were keenly contested across all age groups, with several outstanding performances on display. Notably, Je’myda Claxton** delivered a superb run in the KG Girls race, setting a new record for her division.
