Athletics: Red House Claims Championship Honours at EPPS Sports Meet

The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School held its annual Sports Meet on Thursday, February 19, at the Flats in Cole Hill, drawing spirited support from students, parents, and staff.

The event was held under the distinguished patronage of Jamella Clarke and Michael Hanley, who encouraged the young athletes to give their best both on and off the track.

Students competed fiercely in a range of events, including the 100m, 150m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1200m races, as well as the exciting 4x100m and 4x400m relays. The atmosphere was electric as houses battled for supremacy in a display of speed, endurance, and teamwork.

At the end of an action-packed day, Red House emerged victorious, delivering a dominant performance that kept commentator Ras Della in celebratory spirits.

Final Standings:

Red House – 289 points (Champions)

Green House – 228 points

Gold House – 133 points

The meet once again showcased the athletic talent, sportsmanship, and school pride that define Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School.
