Athletics : Team St. Kitts and Nevis Departs for NACAC U18 & U23 Championships in Mexico

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, July 2026 – A talented team of four athletes is representing St. Kitts and Nevis at the 2026 NACAC U18 & U23 Championships, which will be held in Mexico from July 10–12.

Led by Coach Royston Queeley, the national team departed the Federation with high hopes following a series of impressive performances, including a strong showing at the recently concluded OECS Athletics Championships.

Representing St. Kitts and Nevis at the championships are:

Khylinn Prentice (U18) – 100m, 200m
Tejuan Webbe (U23) – 110m Hurdles
Alexander Caines (U23) – 800m
Kaliyah Jones (U23) – 400m

The championships will bring together many of the Caribbean, Central American, and North American region’s most promising young athletes, providing an important platform for competition and development at the international level.

The St. Kitts and Nevis Athletics Association has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to perform at a high level and proudly represent the Federation on the regional stage.

“We are proud of our athletes and the dedication they have shown in preparing for this championship,” the Association stated. “We extend our best wishes to Coach Royston Queeley and the entire team for a successful competition and every success as they compete against the region’s finest young athletes.”

The nation joins the Athletics Association in wishing Team St. Kitts and Nevis a safe, successful, and memorable championship.
