ROSEAU, DOMINICA; TUESDAY, APRIL 14, 2026 – The saints went marching on the road to victory, as both St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the Geneva Playing Field, and Saint Lucia at Benjamin Park, were victorious over their respective opponents in the third round of matches in the 2026 WINLOTT / Windward Islands Under-19 Cricket Tournament.
At Benjamin Park, hosts and defending champions Dominica were handed an 89-run defeat, to go to the top of the leaderboard by virtue of a better net run rate. Saint Lucia won the toss and opted to bat, totalling 162 all out in 42.1 overs. Johnathan Daniel led the way with 52, Roystan Fannis contributed 25, and Tyler Venner contributed 20, with extras chipping in 23.
Bowling for the defending champions, Kellan Christmas took 3 for 08, Nian Davis 2 for 35, and Aiden Burton 2 for 36.
In reply, the defending champions were bundled out for 73 in 22.5 overs, with Nian Davis top-scoring with 21, Aiden Burton made 13, and Kellan Christmas 11, with 11 extras. Bowling for Saint Lucia who had lost to Grenada on Sunday, Neil Poyette led the destruction of the Dominica batting with 4 for 11, Cody Fontenelle 2 for 09, and Tyler Venner 2 for 17.
Over at the Geneva Playing Field, St. Vincent and the Grenadines bounced back from consecutive defeats in their opening two matches, defeating Grenada by 62 runs. The Vincentians won the toss and batted first, and were all out for 169 in 35.2 overs. Kevin Joseph top-scored with 45, Ozaid Edwards 21, with Jayvonn Henry grabbing 5 for 32, and Jeremy Edwards 1 for 19.
In reply, the Grenadians were all out for 107 in 22.5 overs; Jayvonn Henry top-scoring with 28, and Jamie Wickham24. Bowling for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Kazado Henry took 6 for 28, and De Andre Dougan 2 for 19.
On Wednesday April 15, 2026 in the fourth round of matches, St. Vincent and the Grenadines will face off against Saint Lucia at the Geneva Playing Field, while at Benjamin Park, Dominica and Grenada will battle.
