The Breadfruit Festival is slated for Saturday, June 8th, 2019 starting at 12PM. It will be held at the Barnes Ghaut Community Centre. There will be musical entertainment by Jason Richardson.
The purpose of this festival is to celebrate and promote our local fruit, breadfruit. The breadfruit is synonymous with St. Thomas’ Parish, especially in Barnes Ghaut village. It also provides the community with an opportunity to use creative ways of utilizing the breadfruit.
