CPS Hosts Exciting Annual Cross-Country Event

Charlestown Primary School (CPS) staged its annual Cross-Country event on Monday, January 26, drawing an enthusiastic turnout of parents, grandparents, siblings, and supporters who gathered to cheer on the young athletes.

The day’s action got underway with the Kindergarten boys’ and girls’ races, as the youngest competitors proudly took to the course. The route began at the back of the school, continued through Ramsbury, made a right turn, and concluded at the school’s main gate.

Despite their tender ages, the Kindergarten athletes displayed determination, energy, and sportsmanship, earning loud applause from the crowd.

At the conclusion of all races, the overall **House Point Standings** were as follows:

Blue House – 549 points
Red House – 544 points
Green House – 539 points

The event was a celebration of youth athletics, school spirit, and community support, setting the tone for an exciting athletics season at Charlestown Primary School.
