However, the Hurricanes’ batting faltered once again in their second innings. At the close of play on day two, they were in a precarious position at 136 for 6.
Mikyle Louis led the resistance with a solid 73, while Jahmar Hamilton remained unbeaten on 44.
For the Red Force, Jayden Seales produced an exceptional spell, finishing with remarkable figures of 6 for 33.
The Hurricanes currently hold a narrow lead of 92 runs with four wickets remaining, setting up a competitive contest heading into day three.
