The 17th annual Eddy Caines Football coaching program, came to its conclusion on Friday 22nd July, at the Nevis Athletic Stadium.
Coach Caines took time out to thank the many sponsors, who once again came through to ensure that the program was a success.
Over forty, mainly primary schools students participated and all appeared enthused and testified to learning new skills, or enhancing their general skills set, as regards playing the game of Football.
Coach Leroy JUN-JUN Sweeney indicated that the participants were taught the basics of the game, which included dribbling, controlling, passing and shooting.
He said that he was impressed and expected that whenever the Primary Schools’ Football tournament is held, it will be very competitive.
Coach Caines also thanked his volunteer crew, who made sure that the children were well taken care of on a daily basis.
