The Mapau Cayon Rockets blasted their way to glory, capturing the SKNFA Women’s Federal Cup!
This feat was accomplished on Tuesday night-2nd September, at the Technical Centre in St. Peter’s.
It was the second game in the best-of-three series, and the Rockets won over Bath United, comfortably, with a 4 goals to 0 score line, effectively sweeping the series, 2 games to nil.
Bath United’s coach Alex Claxton noted that with the Queen City ladies dropping out of the competition, his team was lacking match preparedness, but gave it their all nonetheless.
The Rockets’ coach, on the other hand, indicated that this is only the beginning, as they are primed and ready to win upcoming tournaments as well.
