On the evening of Saturday, December 20, the grand finals of the Under-17 Parish League Football Tournament were held at ET Willet Park.
The third-place playoff saw St. George’s take on St. Thomas’. Both teams had suffered heavy defeats in their respective semi-final matches, setting the stage for what was expected to be a closely contested encounter.
St. Thomas’ showed early promise in the opening exchanges; however, sustained pressure from St. George’s eventually proved decisive. As the match progressed, St. Thomas’ struggled to contain their opponents, and by the final whistle, St. George’s had asserted clear dominance.
St. George’s emerged as comprehensive winners with an emphatic 5–0 victory, securing the third-place trophy convincingly.
