On the evening of Saturday, 20 December, the grand finals of the Under-17 Parish League Football Tournament were contested at the ET Willet Park.
In the championship match, St. Paul’s and St. John’s faced off in a thrilling encounter from start to finish. St. John’s opened the scoring and appeared to have the advantage as the clock wound down. However, before the end of regulation time, St. Paul’s equalised, bringing the score to 1–1.
With no further goals in regular play, the match was decided by a penalty shootout. It was evenly balanced, with both goalkeepers producing outstanding saves. In the decisive moment, St. Paul’s goalkeeper Nathan converted the critical penalty, sealing victory for his team.
St. Paul’s emerged as champions and duly secured the winner’s trophy.
