Thursday 24th March, saw the Little Stars Nursery situated at Victoria Road, hosting its annual sports meet, at the school’s grounds.
The children commenced the proceedings with an impressive march past and then competed in such races as the flat race; potato race; thread the roll; undress race; ball race; bag race; shoes race and water race.
The parents also served to entertain their children, as some of them participated in the fathers’ race and mothers’ race.
At the end of the exciting event, the final point standings were as follows:
Green house-275 points-champions
Red house- 237 points-second place.
