The grand finals in the Christmas cup Football tournament, hosted by the Youth and Sports Department, was played at the ET Willet Park, on the evening of Saturday 29th December.
On that evening, Bath United and Hard Times squared off for top honours.
Hard Times came out in a non-nonsense kind of mood and up to half time, were large and in charge, with a decisive score line of 3 goals to nil.
During the second half, it was obvious that the Bath United team knew that it was a ‘do or die ‘situation.
They managed to score two goals of their own, but Hard Times, for good measure, put in two more.
Final score: Hard Times 5 Bath United 2.
The Hard Times team therefore, the top team emerging from the league
