Jazzée S. C. Participates in Executive Training Programme on Diplomacy in Austria

Earlier this month, Jazzée S. C. had the honour of strengthening her diplomatic expertise through participation in the Executive Training Programme on Austria, Diplomacy and International Affairs.

The two-week programme was hosted by the prestigious Diplomatische Akademie Wien (Vienna School of International Studies) and featured immersive, hands-on sessions exploring European geopolitics, Austria’s foreign policy framework, and its leadership role in global peacebuilding and multilateral cooperation.

Participants also engaged in a series of study visits and high-level briefings at key Austrian institutions, including the Federal Chancellery, Parliament, the United Nations Office in Vienna, and the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs. These engagements provided valuable real-world insights that complemented the academic instruction.

A notable highlight of the programme was its focus on Caribbean diplomats, creating a collaborative environment for the exchange of perspectives and the formation of lasting professional relationships.

Armed with the knowledge and experience gained, Jazzée S. C. looks ahead to 2026 with renewed clarity, confidence, and a strengthened commitment to representing her country and advocating for Small Island Developing States on the global stage.
