Nevis Mango Festival Brings the Sweet Taste of the Caribbean’s Mango Capital to Miami’s Food, Wine & Fete 2026

Nevis, May, 2026 —The Nevis Tourism Authority brought the vibrant spirit of the upcoming Nevis Mango Festival to Miami this month, using the high-energy platform of Food, Wine & Fete (FWF 2026) to spotlight Nevis as the Caribbean’s Mango Capital and build excitement for the island’s beloved culinary celebration taking place this July 2-5, 2026.

Held at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, the fourth annual all-inclusive Caribbean beachside fete attracted more than 1,500 attendees, including members of the Caribbean diaspora, food lovers, tastemakers, and travel enthusiasts from across South Florida.

To bring the flavor of Nevis to life, the destination debuted a fully branded mango popsicle cart that quickly became one of the evening’s most talked-about activations. As guests danced, sampled Caribbean cuisine, and celebrated island culture throughout the night, long lines formed for the refreshing mango treats inspired by Nevis’ celebrated mango season and the island’s deep agricultural heritage.

The destination’s presence at Food, Wine & Fete extended beyond the popsicle activation and into the event’s highly anticipated Grand Finale, where Nevis received prominent visibility during a custom drone light show produced by LunaLite Drone Technologies. As hundreds of illuminated drones lit up the Miami skyline above Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, the Nevis Mango Festival logo and the Nevis flag appeared overhead in a striking visual tribute that further reinforced the island’s branding and festival messaging in front of the event’s high-energy audience.

Representing the Nevis Tourism Authority at Food, Wine & Fete 2026 was Pheon Jones, Director of Sales and Marketing, who engaged with attendees, media, and stakeholders throughout the event while highlighting Nevis’ growing culinary tourism offerings and upcoming Mango Festival. The activation was developed in partnership with Cessie C. Communications, the Nevis Tourism Authority’s U.S. public relations agency, as part of a broader strategic initiative to elevate Nevis’ visibility within South Florida and connect with affluent Caribbean diaspora travelers and culinary-focused audiences.

“Miami continues to be an incredibly important market for Nevis, not only because of its direct connectivity to the destination, but also because it’s home to a vibrant and affluent Caribbean diaspora and a highly engaged community of culinary and culturally curious travelers,” said Pheon Jones, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Nevis Tourism Authority. “Food, Wine & Fete provided the perfect platform for us to introduce attendees to the spirit of Nevis while building excitement for the upcoming Nevis Mango Festival this July. From our mango-inspired activation to the incredible conversations we had throughout the event, the response reinforced the growing appetite for authentic, experience-driven Caribbean travel. We were also thrilled to partner with Vanessa James Media and the Food, Wine & Fete team, whose vision and audience created a meaningful opportunity to showcase Nevis in front of exactly the demographic we want to reach.”

Known as the “Mango Capital of the Caribbean,” Nevis is home to more than 44 varieties of mangoes, many of which take center stage during the annual Nevis Mango Festival, returning July 2-5, 2026. The festival has evolved into one of the Caribbean’s premier culinary events, drawing acclaimed chefs, food lovers, and travelers from around the world for a vibrant celebration of mango-inspired cuisine, island culture, culinary experiences, and authentic Nevisian hospitality.
