Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 12, 2017 (RSCNPF): Police responded to a report of an armed robbery that took place on Friday, December 08, 2017 at Durant Avenue, Basseterre.
Preliminary inquiries have revealed that at about 11:30 p.m. an armed masked man entered a hair salon located on Durant Avenue and robbed the hairdresser, Rosa Foe, of her pink purse and a sum of money. Two other persons were also present at the time of the incident. Ruben Ozuna, was robbed of several pieces of identification and a sum of money. Andrew Pane suffered injuries to his face after he was struck by the armed assailant.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force would like to assure the public that foot and mobile patrols are continuing and will be increased during the season.
